Cancellation of Steve Rolls and Zsolt Daranyi Bouts

March 26, 2018 – Much to our regret, two of the five scheduled bouts on our card this past Saturday at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Steve Rolls vs. Damien Bonelli and Zsolt Daranyi vs. Diego Marocchi, were canceled, after the opponents for both Rolls and Daranyi refused to fight.

As per the rules and regulations of the Ontario Athletic Commission, payments to all fighters are remitted to the athletic commission two weeks prior to any event in certified funds to guarantee a boxers payment following a boxing match. All such monetary obligations on behalf of Liveco were met. Damien Bonelli and Diego Marocchi did not want to accept a certified bank draft, and although every attempt was made to produce cash payments, no such arrangements could be made and the two boxers elected to not participate in their respective bouts.

Please note that despite not competing, due to no fault of their own, both Steve Rolls and Zsolt Daranyi were paid in full as per their original contract. Both Steve Rolls and Zsolt Darnyi conducted themselves as champions and honored every obligation that was asked of them.

Although three of the five bouts did take place as scheduled, to a packed house of close to 1700 boxing fans, we understand that fans who purchased tickets to see Steve Rolls and Zsolt Daranyi were left extremely disapointed.

For this reason, Liveco Boxing has elected to issue full refunds to those who request. To obtain a refund, please email your name and Eventbrite ticket confirmation # to for a no questions asked refund. Refunds will be credited back to your credit card within 14 days.

We sincerely apologize for the unfortunate turn of events and thank you for your support. We wish Steve Rolls and Zsolt Daranyi and the best in their careers and hope to see them back in the ring soon.
